A: At Hammer Time Carpentry, we stand by our estimates and never increase the price unless a change to the original estimate occurs. We believe in being transparent, fair, and honest with our clients.
Q: Should I be worried about the project taking longer than expected?
A: There are many variables with construction. Over the 14 years we’ve been in operation, we have established a team of reliable contractors and vendors that work alongside us. This, accompanied by careful planning and communication, helps pave the path for smooth, fast construction. We understand that construction can be inconvenient to live around. Our goal is to provide the highest quality work while keeping to our scheduled finish date.
After researching contractors to build a new garage on my property, a friend had referenced Hammer Time Carpentry. I received a few quotes from various contractors, and even though Hammer Time was just a little higher, it was the first meeting that I knew I would pick them. It might sound strange, but it was the way they treated my dog. If they were that kind to her, and their skills came recommended, then I’d feel comfortable being gone while they were at my house working.
I was not wrong. The speed at which they built my new shop was fantastic. They kept on schedule and let me know processes along the way. While building, they would offer suggestions to see if I’d want things different, suggestions, which was very appreciated as in the design build, it’s easy to not think of futures amenities. The new shop turned out better than I had hoped. I was so impressed, that I then had them build me a new large deck, which turned out amazing.
Next summer I’m going to have them do new siding on the house. And then…….
